The Himalayan Masters who Heal
Near Bhawali, a smal town of the Indian Himalayan state Uttarakhand is a village known as Shyamkhet. Famous in near and far is the healing powers of the noble saint Nantin Baba.
After Nantin Baba drew curtains on the mortal drama, his successor Shankar Baba has continued the noble work as also spread awareness of the rich Vedic knowledge, spiritual as well as of the healing Ayurveda.
Many throng Shankar Baba, whether in his ashram in Shyamkhet or Niliyam Colony Haldwani, to seek counsel and advice on matters pertainng to spirituality, health or mundane.
In February 2009', His Holiness the Shankarachrya ofJoshimath (Badrinarayan), invested Shankar Baba with the title of Dandi Swami Shankaranand Giri. This honour announes to the Hindu religious order Shankar Baba's being considered at the pinnacle of Sanatan Dharma.
The Satvik Lifestyle Management Centre at Bhimtal.was set up with the inspiration and guidance of Nantin Baba's disciple Shankar Guru (Shyamkhet) .
